News

February 2010The Alzheimer’s Association, National Capital Area Chapter, selected Pomerantz to develop a website focused on promoting Brain Health. The site will utilize technology in a fun, creative and inspiring way that will encourage visitors to explore how they can impact their own brain health The website will include features such as “The Brain Tour” and “Ask the Pharmacist” where visitors can inquire about medications and supplements related to Alzheimer’s or brain health. Additionally, the site will include crossword puzzles, teasers, Sudoku, and other games for adults and kids that boost brain power.

The Brain Health site will be launched in the second quarter of 2010.

January 2010ICF International, a global professional services firm, was selected as the winner of Pomerantz’s Q1 2010 Website Makeover contest. ICF partners with government and commercial clients to deliver professional services and technology solutions in the energy and climate change; environment and infrastructure; health, human services, and social programs; and homeland security and defense markets. ICF has grown exponentially over the years and wants its corporate website to reflect the dynamic company it has become. ICF is excited to work with Pomerantz’s team of award-winning marketing professionals to take ICF’s web presence to the next level.

December 2009 — The Chesapeake Innovation Center, a business accelerator based in Anne Arundel County Maryland, selected Pomerantz to revamp the organization’s web presence in order to emphasize its focus on cyber security, homeland security and cloud computing. The new site will be launched in the first quarter of 2010.

December 2009 — For the fourth year in a row, Pomerantz will be developing the creative for the Chespeake Regional Tech Council’s Annual Tech Awards event. The 2010 event will be held on March 25th from 6 to 9 pm at the Westin Annapolis Hotel in Annapolis, MD. Click here to learn more about the event and sponsorship opportunities.

December 2009 — Pomerantz was featured in article in the December 11, 2009 issue of the Baltimore Business Journal focused on agencies thoughts on 2010. Click here to view the full article.

November 2009 — The Annapolis Group, a full-service security and risk management consulting firm, selected Pomerantz to develop a new brand for their new domestic and international art risk management division. The brand launch will take place in the first quarter of 2010.

October 2009 — ScrapWare Corporation, the developer of ScrapWare software for the recycling industry, selected Pomerantz to perform an overhaul of their company’s website. Pomerantz will be designing a new interface for the site and developing it in Word Press, a state-of-the-art web publishing platform that enables easy content management. The new site will launch by the end of 2009.

October 2009 — Allison Barnhill Designs (ABD), an Annapolis, Maryland-based company specializing custom-designed couture wedding and special event invitations and coordinating accessories, turned to Pomerantz to evolve the design and functionality of their website. Pomerantz designed and developed the current site and now, with a year’s worth of new, award-winning work to display, ABD is ready to refresh their website for 2010. The new site will launch by the end of 2009.

September 2009 — EMC/Dell, a strategic partnership combining each company’s expertise and products to simplify IT, chose Pomerantz to create their 4th and Goal Incentive Program. The purpose of the program is to drive sales via training and incentives. Pomerantz will be building a marketing toolkit that can be updated with different themes in the future. The 4th and Goal theme for the September 2009 through January 2010 program will be football-focused.

September 2009 — EMC, the world leader in information management, turned to Pomerantz update the collateral materials that are used to inform and educate their global network of channel partners about the Velocity partner program.

August 2009 — Matterhorn Travel, a leading provider of upscale, leisure and cultural all-inclusive trips to Europe, selected Pomerantz to update their web presence. Pomerantz performed design enhancements to the site while maintaining the overall aesthetics and functionality desired by Matterhorn. Visit the new site at www.matterhorntravel.com.

August 2009 — Corporate Network Services, a regional Information Technology services provider, called on Pomerantz to design and develop a website focused on their FileMaker business division. Pomerantz designed the interface, developed and launched it within a tight turnaround of three weeks. Visit www.anvildataworks.com. Also, visit www.cornetser.com. Pomerantz designed this site in 2008 for Corporate Network Services.

July 2009 — Corman Construction, one of the Mid-Atlantic region’s largest heavy civil construction contractors, selected Pomerantz to update their company’s brand presence. New corporate identities were developed for all of Corman’s divisions— Corman Construction, Corman Southern Region and Corman Marine Construction — followed by the launch of new websites. The sites were developed in Word Press, a state-of-the-art web publishing platform. Visit www.cormanconstruction.com and www.cormanmarine.com.

June 2009 — The National Investment Center (NIC), a non-profit dedicated to advancing the seniors housing and care industry, selected Pomerantz to develop the marketing campaigns for two of their 2010 events: The 2010 NIC Skilled Nursing Investment Forum (SNIF) and The 2010 NIC Regional Symposium.

The 2010 NIC SNIF event will be the first of its kind for NIC and will target skilled nursing operators and lenders. This year’s theme “Moving from Yesterday to Tomorrow: Capital and Reimbursement Strategies” will focus on providing optimal care for residents while also meeting business goals in a tough economy.

The campaign for the 2010 Regional Symposium will focus on “Leadership for a Demanding Journey: Adapting to Changing Expectations”. Geared toward independent operators of senior housing facilities, the event will focus on providing mission-critical information and strategies needed to adapt to today’s market and turn obstacles into opportunities. This is the third year that Pomerantz has developed the campaign to promote the Symposium.

May 2009 — The National Investment Center, a non-profit dedicated to advancing the seniors housing and care industry, chose Pomerantz to produce their 2009 Seniors Housing & Care Journal. The Journal provides an overview of the state of the industry and will be distributed at the National Investment Center’s 19th Annual Conference in the fall of 2009. This is the eighth consecutive year that Pomerantz has developed the journal.

April 2009 — LifeLock, the industry leader in identity theft protection, selected Pomerantz to develop and execute a partner recruitment campaign in order to grow their partner base. The campaign, scheduled to launch in the fall of 2009, will target a select group of industries and will utilize a combination of executive door openers, e-marketing and telemarketing.

March 2009 — Insurance Solutions, Inc. (ISI), a leading regional provider of customized employee benefit solutions, chose Pomerantz to update their company’s web presence. Pomerantz worked with ISI to develop a new architecture for their site along with new interface design and content. The site is being developed in Word Press, a state-of-the-art web publishing platform, and will launch in August 2009.

February 2009 — Envision EMI, the world’s largest creator of leadership and success programs for high achieving youth, selected Pomerantz to develop an integrated marketing campaign promoting enrollment in their National Young Leaders State Conference (NYLSC). Using the theme “You Own the Power,” Pomerantz developed a unique direct mail package targeting mentors, parents and students. Recipients were driven to a microsite providing more information on the program and mechanisms for enrolling.

January 2009 — EMC, the world leader in information management, turned to Pomerantz to _re-engineer their partner e-communications. With a network of partners worldwide, Pomerantz evaluated their current communications strategy and provided recommendations to EMC based on industry best practices. New templates for EMC’s e-communications were then designed, developed and deployed.

January 2009 — Vocus, the global provider of the premier web-based public relations management system, selected Pomerantz to totally revamp their corporate website. Tasked with the goal of creating a web experience that is fresh, contemporary, conversational and utilizes best practices, Pomerantz’s mission is also to showcase the breadth of power that the Vocus system encompasses. The new site is being developed in Dotnetnuke, the leading content management system and application development platform for Microsoft.NET.
