Lead Generation Specialist

Unique situation for an individual that likes walking in both the business and creative ends of the agency world and is looking for a flexible work situation. Well-established, Annapolis, MD-based marketing firm is looking for a sales and marketing professional to drive lead generation programs.

If you’re a hybrid of a sales person, marketing whiz and project manager, this position could be right for you. Daily activities will take place on-site and will involve hands-on design, development and implementation of lead generation programs. This will involve prospect research, database management, telephone work and reporting in conjunction with integrated marketing tactics such as direct mail and e-marketing. You will literally be running lead generation programs and be responsible for generating leads. Your efforts will be supported by the agency’s team.

Internship Opportunities Available

Pomerantz’s founder started her career as the result of an internship. This critical step gives you the hands-on experience you need to determine if your chosen field is truly the right fit. To that end, we’d like to offer the opportunity for motivated individuals to participate in our internship program and gain valuable experience in the marketing industry.

This position requires a 90-day commitment…and is unpaid. (The training actually costs us money.) At the end of the 90 days you will be considered for possible ongoing work or employment. Freelance Copywriter

This position is for the copywriter who has extensive experience developing brands and campaigns. Tasks will include reviewing creative briefs, digesting background information, developing brand strategies and campaign concepts, and writing clean, snappy copy for ad/direct mail campaigns, collateral, web sites, etc. Must have 7+ years experience on national consumer and business-to-business campaigns—technology industry a plus. Freelance Graphic Designer

This position is for the individual who has the freedom to work on-site when required and off-site as needed. A minimum of 5 years agency experience is required. You must be able to concept and design with confidence, expertise and efficiency—and be a stickler for details. You must be willing to do the grunt work required between big ideas and be able to work as a member of a team while possessing the skills to go off and work on your own. You must possess excellent organizational, verbal and written skills and the ability to coordinate and organize multiple projects under tight deadlines. You must be able to get your head around problems both consumer and B2B, and will be working on clients within the technology, tourism, healthcare, retail and hospitality industries.

Projects will range from print ads, collateral and direct mail to tradeshow displays and Power Point presentations. Experience in web and e-marketing design a big plus. This position is for the individual who has the freedom to work on-site when required and off-site as needed. A minimum of 5 years experience is required.
