EMC Corporation is a world leader in information management and storage with a global network of channel partners (resellers). They turned to Pomerantz to develop a campaign toolkit for their Backup, Recovery and Archive Solution for partners to co-brand and use to promote the solution. Tapping into common pain points, the campaign uses powerful imagery and missing letters in the headline to identify with the anxiety felt by IT teams when faced with failed backups and missing data.
Project Details
The project started with a Discovery Session to gain insight into EMC’s Solution and the marketing tools needed in the toolkit
Three unique campaign concepts were presented
A complete toolkit of awareness-building and event-based marketing materials was developed including postcards, email blasts, landing pages, banner ads and print ads
Each toolkit component included an area in which partners could co-brand the piece with their content and logo
Once the pieces were finalized, the toolkit was translated into multiple languages for international use
The artwork for the marketing toolkit was made available to partners on EMC’s partner portal
